Today, Microsoft for Minecraft Bedrock released an "Urgent Information" notification that pops up when you log into Minecraft.

Additionally, the following steps were provided on Microsoft's website.

RGAP Creative Studio, recommends that you go ahead and just do a full backup of your Minecraft Worlds before you do any of the steps recommended by Minecraft, Microsoft, Mojang, because once your worlds are lost, there is no way to recover them.
